Animal Welfare: How to take care of your pet or animal?

Animal welfare basically means the relationship between humans and animals, it is a duty bestowed on humans to treat under care animals with love and responsibility. Most of the time, humans have good intentions towards animals under their care, but sometimes people go wrong because they are uneducated about what their animal or pet needs.

Well, you don’t need to worry, because the majority of the humans who decide to take animal ownership can fulfill their needs. Well, you might be here, because you are looking for some guidelines to take care of animals around you. You might already have your own pet, and need some guidelines to pamper your pet properly.

Here are some pets and their care needs are given below:

1) Puppy Care:

There are different breeds for dogs, and each one has its own needs. However, some basic needs are important to every puppy or day. Be prepared before you bring your puppy home. Purchase puppy food well before their arrival; buy chew toys, food & water dishes, dog bed, grooming supplies, and crate. Your puppy will be a bit scared on their first day and needs adjustment time for their new home.

Assess the area where his bed is present and makes sure that he is not accessible to areas having electrical appliances. A home change may be a bit hard on their gut system, so make sure to give them the exact same food that they were fed in their previous home. They need time to adapt, the less severe changes they face, the more likely they will be able to get adjusted to their new home.

2) Goldfish Care:

Well, goldfish are easy to purchase but very difficult to care for. Overfeeding and infrequent water change can damage their health and are the main cause for their shorter life span under the surveillance of human care. Make sure to agitate their tank, this can help them with the proper value of oxygen needed. Instead of using more than one brand to feed them, instead, use only one brand of goldfish meal. It can make them live longer.

Because they are cold-blooded creatures, they don’t need as much as warm-blooded animals. A fish can live one week without food; it’s just that during this duration they will not be able to grow physically. So, it’s not over-feeding that can make them die, it’s actually under-feeding that can have a detrimental effect on their health. So, go for very smaller but frequent meals in a day, these meals will be easier on their digestive tract.

3) Chicken Care:

Well, they are my favorite animals, as it is very fun to raise them. They don’t need much care and supplies to remain healthy. Instead of placing their food and water try on the ground’ it’s better to use feeders and waterers, because they will not trip on them, and hence food and water will remain clean. Avoid food high in fat or salt, and give them some greenies, proteins, and carbs, etc. They are fun-loving creatures, so they need some space to roam here and there. Make sure to give them a variety of diets, as they get easily boredom by eating the same things all the time. It is necessary to have holes in their cope for a good amount of ventilation.

Conclusion:

All animal under the custody of human needs care, and it depends on the animal and their needs. Some animals need more precautions to follow by a human, and some can strive mostly on their own. However, a human should take care of the animal on which he/she has bestowed his/her right as an owner
